How much can I expect to spend? Decorative finishes do cost more than "straight" painting, however there are finishes that will fall within most budgets. Most of my finishes range in price from $2.50 to $6.00 a square foot. Some multi-layered finishes will go even higher. Fortunately price does not necessarily indicate beauty as some of the more reasonable finishes are quite elegant. Keep in mind that the condition of the walls will also have some bearing on the cost of the job. Having said all that you can expect a "typical" room to cost somewhere between $1000 and $3500. I will quote you a firm price before any work begins so there won't be any surprises later on.

Murals are a little more difficult to price with many variables to consider. Design, size, amount of detail, wall surface, wall condition, subject matter, and location all factor in to the cost. A small wall niche may cost $400 while a full wall mural can cost thousands of dollars.

Who does the actual work? I do, when you hire me you get me. Depending on the size of the job I may bring an assistant, but I am always on site and hands on.

Are you insured? Yes. I carry business liability insurance which covers any damages to your property.

What are your qualifications? I have over 20 years of experience as an artist and graphic designer with a BFA from Herron School of Art and Design. I continue to train in the art of faux with such nationally known artisans as Martin Alan Hirsch. Truly a winning combination that results in decorative finishes that speak for themselves.
